Great recipe but advising people to use tin foil in the year 2024 is irresponsible. Its unhealthy. Are we so lazy we can’t clean a pan? Soak it in water. There’s still clean up. Not everything has to be easy. If easy means we are more likely to become ill I would rather it be more difficult.

The sauce was so easy but so tasty! Sweet and tangy and perfectly sticky once it set for a few minutes. This was perfect for a quick and simple meal.

This recipe was a hit at my house! My only change was to use my normal seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and paprika) before adding the sauce, which was still a little thin when the chicken was done. I simply boiled some until it reduced to the thickness we like. Served with rice and broccoli. Looking forward to eating the leftovers! Thanks so much 😊

We love this recipe at my house. It’s great as written but for some reason all the soy sauce makes me think Asian style and I add some Korean pepper flakes, sesame oil and a dash of red boat fish sauce. Could do ginger too, why not. I also like to reduce the amount of honey to closer to 1/4-1/3 cup and I have used a reduced amount of brown sugar as a substitute just fine. It comes out almost teriyaki like. It’s really good with rice and broccoli is our favorite veggie side. This is a great, flexible recipe that I keep in my recipe book and come back to again and again, thank you!
