I think you should be a lot more accurate on the timing. Easily 3:30+ to get anywhere near a donut.

The donuts turned out fairly okay. I wish the dough was a bit sweeter though. Do you have any recommendations on adding additional sugar to the mix without altering the consistency of the dough? New to dough making here lol

Does this make 2 dozen as in 2 dozen whole Donuts plus the middle parts? Or is the 2 dozen including the middle parts? Tia

Best donuts ever. I have tried at least 7 different recipes for donuts. By far this is the best recipe. They came out so light, that Iam sorry that I only did half a recipe.
I moved overseas and have been craving donuts; thus the reason that I have been trying different recipes. My search is over 🙂

My 8yr old grandaughter made these one evening, we left the dough in the fridge overnight. We rolled them out fried and glazed some and dipped some in chocolate. Oh my they where delicious, the best doughnuts I’ve made! Thanks Melissa for a great recipe.

Recipe is good. Not in favor of the glaze but over all dough for recipe works well tastes great.
