4th time making this recipe, except this time I changed it up a bit…I used homemade pear jam, a dash of dijon mustard, garlic powder and smoked paprika, boneless thighs and wings. Over the top delicious! I think next time I will put a layer of sliced onion on bottom as well and serve over rice đź‘Ť Only took 3 hours on high, could have went less.
Thanx for sharing!! Super yummy yet easy!!

Very easy to make and it was really delicious! My husband raved about it and said it was the best chicken he ever had…He is not usually so enthusiastic about chicken 🙂
I used Stonewall Kitchen Seedless Blackberry Jam which lent a great flavor to the recipe! Thank you!

More of a soup than than the nice brown meat shown in the pics. I do this recipe with the fruit jelly, but in a pan in the oven, and for a much shorter time. Thanks for the great idea.

In reply to Marian.

This has become one of our favorite recipes! We like to use Cherry Preserves. And you can easily vary the spices, we make ours smoky using smoked paprika or liquid smoke sometimes.

We loved this recipe, used Apricot jam and added cumin and Sirachi. Excellent!

It adds a lot of salt, flavor, and moisture so if you need to skip it I would sub it out for something like chicken broth and adjust the salt to taste.
